I didn’t plan to run for office. After working my whole life, I hoped to enjoy a quiet retirement. But these are not ordinary times. Over 67% of our country believe we are headed in the wrong direction. Too many families are being left behind. The middle class — the backbone of our communities — is being gutted.  Working people are struggling while the gap between the wealthy and everyone else keeps widening.

I’m stepping forward because people must come before politics. True leadership is not defined by a title or the authority to delegate; it is defined by the willingness to stand in the trenches alongside those we lead.

Our communities should thrive — not at the expense of our environment and working families, but because we invest in them.
Because we listen to them. Because we trust them.

It’s our taxes that fund our county government! So, I’m running to put people first! To rebuild opportunity. To rebuild communities. To make sure every family — no matter their zip code or paycheck — has a fair shot. Together, we can build a future that works for all of us.
